Studio i is located in the historical warehouse and artist space: Erector Square. We are settled between the Quinnipiac and Mill Rivers (Fair Haven) in New Haven, CT.
As you probably surmised from the name, the Erector Square warehouse & campus was originally the home of the industrial factory that made the famous Erector Sets. Today it houses everything from theatre companies and visual artists, to musicians and other various creative studios. Some of New Haven's finest artists call this campus their home. You can see for yourself and visit their studios during City-Wide Open Studios in the Fall.
The corner of Erector Square that we call our very own is Studio i, on the 3rd floor, in building #5. Our space is 20'x20' with 18' high ceilings, a pleasant grey floor, and one beautiful wall of windows. Each floor in our building has a common bathroom, an industrial sink, and a gathering area. We also have a large freight elevator that is available upon request.
